In the early 2010s, as U.S. healthcare shifted to value-based care, physicians—especially in primary care—faced growing administrative demands beyond traditional practice. With just 9 to 11 minutes per patient, how could they manage documentation, coding, quality metrics, and still provide meaningful care?

Having experienced this firsthand as physicians, we knew something had to change. The idea was simple: build centralized teams—quality advocates, pharmacists, care managers—to take on the administrative load and equip providers with what they need to focus on care.

What began in 2015 as a small quality office with five members has grown into GMA’s Clinical Transformation Center, now 60+ professionals strong. It continues to support our mission to simplify healthcare operations, improve outcomes, and empower providers.

All of it driven by one simple vision: clinical transformation through provider empowerment.
